Hi there, my name is Cheta D. Akaluka. I am an award-winning writer, artist and thought leader.
I’m currently available to collaborate on community projects.
I’m based in Winnipeg, MB Canada, but open to work or travel nationally and internationally.
I studied Rhetoric, Communications and Sociology, Creative Communications with a specialization in Advertising and Marketing Communications as well as Leadership and Business at The University of Winnipeg, Red River College and University of Manitoba respectively.
Commodify
Commodify is a budding brand consultancy I founded, which helps people turn their skills into valuable commodities and market them to access better career opportunities.
Sustainability for ME
Sustainability for ME (S4M) is a youth-led awareness organization that focuses on individual efforts to achieve sustainable goals. At S4M, I get to lead a team of talented youths to achieve three United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. We believe we have power to impact our environment, and we have chosen to do so positively.
I am also an alumna of the President’s Leadership Program (PSLP), a fully-funded fellowship with Asper School of Business James W. Burns Leadership Institute at University of Manitoba.
At the apex of my leadership journey is a passion to serve people and solve problems.
